GatePass is a single Sign On (SSO) process for websites that use GatePass for authentication.

This means that you just need to remember a single email address for websites using GatePass. This also means, that if you are a member of a hundred sites that use GatePass, you only need to remember one email address and one password for all of them.

GatePass values privacy greatly. GatePass won't share your email address with anyone. Ever.

GatePass also gives you the option to use 2FA. This will help increase security to your account.

Nothing is secure in the Internet. The only way to secure anything 100% is by pulling the plug. With that in mind, we do our best to protect the data you have provided us with.

GatePass simply does not have your password. During registration or when you change your password, your password goes through a complicated process called hashing. And based on the hash that was derived, we won't be able to know what your password is.

Amnesia mode is a sign-out process where GatePass will forget where you have signed-in previously. This will result in authentication codes to be required again, if you have enabled 2FA, for devices you have previously used.

As for your name, GatePass-enabled sites would want to know what your name is. You wouldn't find it funny if you are addressed as ID number 1234567 instead of your name, would you?

1. Go to the GatePass site: https://gatepass.siteauth.net

2. Sign In by clicking at Sign In icon.

3. Click on Account Details.

4. Click on Account Credentials. A new window opens. Continue using the newly opened window.

5. Click on Enable below 2FA.

6. Click on Submit after you have entered the codes displayed on your authenticator app.
